We work hand in hand with other port authorities to optimize traffic management at the Port of Valencia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u00b7 The project is an initiative coordinated by the Valenciaport Foundation, made up of different public and private actors. It has a budget of 8 million euros co-financed by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility. <\/p>\n\n

Project objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/strong>– Optimization of maritime and land transport (road and rail). <\/p>\n\n

– Promotion of digital platforms and new technologies to improve transport infrastructure and services. <\/p>\n\n

– Promotion of modal integration.<\/p>\n\n

Expected results<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Improvements to the operational management systems of the terminals (TOS). <\/p>\n\n

– Optimization of the Port Community System (PCS) of Valenciaport. <\/p>\n\n

– Improved communication between actors in freight transport. <\/p>\n\n

– Compatibility and interoperability between digital systems (TOS, PCS, SIMPLE Platform). <\/p>\n\n

– Use of ICT4.0 standards and adaptation to European regulations (EMSWe, eFTI).<\/p>\n\n

Impact and replicability<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Development of a cost-benefit analysis. <\/p>\n\n

– Implementation strategy and replicability in other EU ports. <\/p>\n\n

– Multiplication of the project’s impact beyond the Port of Valencia.<\/p>\n\n

– Partners: Port Authority of Valencia; State Ports and Cosco Shipping Ports (Spain) Terminals.<\/p>\n\n
