Today the plaque was presented at our Valencia terminal to the ship OOCL Spain. The container ship is part of the weekly AEU7 service that connects the Iberian Peninsula with the Far East.<\/p>\n\n

The \u201cOOCL Spain\u201d joined the shipping line’s fleet last February and is its first vessel with a capacity of over 24,000 TEUs, placing it among the world’s largest container ships. It has an overall length of 400 meters and a beam of 61.3 meters and was built by Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n\n

The ceremony was attended by Mar Chao (Head of Sales and Business Development) and Cristina Rodr\u00edguez (Head of Sales and Customers) from the Port Authority of Valencia, Pedro Esteve (Country Manager) and Luc\u00eda P\u00e9rez (Operations Manager) from the maritime line OOCL and Ken Chan (CEO), Xu Maobing, Juan Ort\u00ed (CCO), Gustavo Ferrer (Terminal Manager) and Miguel Mar\u00edn (Sales & Marketing Manager) from CSP Spain.<\/p>\n\n

The addition of this ship to the AEU7 service is part of other expansion actions such as the inclusion of a stop in Abu Dhabi with an 18-day connection to the Valencian port, which was announced last week. The service connects northern Europe with southeast Asia and Valencia is the only Spanish port included. <\/p>\n\n

CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal is a reference terminal in the Mediterranean arc. It is a key transit point for the main maritime transport routes that connect Spain and Europe<\/strong> with other continents. The routes to the following stand out in particular: America, South America, the Middle and Far East and IPBC, in addition to being a key point in the “One Belt, One Road” initiative that revives the ancient Silk Road.<\/p>\n\n
