Valencia. June 20, 2022.<\/strong> Logitren, one of the first private railway companies in freight transport in Spain, celebrates its fifteenth anniversary at full capacity of its railway activity in Spain. <\/p>\n\n

Following the acquisition of a controlling stake by the CSP Spain Group at the end of March 2022, Logitren is currently undergoing a transformation and growth process, culminating in a recent rebranding of its name and logo, now operating as CSP Logitren<\/strong>. This marks one of the many milestones set out in the company’s strategic plan, which focuses primarily on increasing its rail market share and improving connectivity between the CSP Spain Group’s maritime and inland terminals. <\/p>\n\n

In addition to this measure, and in response to the growth forecasts in its business plan, CSP Logitren has just finalized an agreement to add two new Euro 4001 diesel-electric locomotives to its fleet. These locomotives were designed and manufactured at Stadler’s plant in Albuixech (Valencia). These high-performance units, which will enter service at the end of 2024, will allow CSP Logitren to offer greater traction capacity in line with the quality and energy efficiency standards demanded by its customers. <\/p>\n\n

CSP Logitren’s 15th anniversary comes at a significant moment for the company. COSCO SHIPPING Ports (Spain) Terminals, Grupo Torrescamara, and the Valencian Regional Government share a business vision that drives them to consolidate this vision for rail logistics. <\/p>\n\n
