
We work hand in hand with other port authorities to optimize traffic management at the Port of Valencia
· The project is an initiative coordinated by the Valenciaport Foundation, made up of different public and private actors. It has a budget of 8 million euros co-financed by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility.
Project objectives
– Optimization of maritime and land transport (road and rail).
– Promotion of digital platforms and new technologies to improve transport infrastructure and services.
– Promotion of modal integration.
Expected results
– Improvements to the operational management systems of the terminals (TOS).
– Optimization of the Port Community System (PCS) of Valenciaport.
– Improved communication between actors in freight transport.
– Compatibility and interoperability between digital systems (TOS, PCS, SIMPLE Platform).
– Use of ICT4.0 standards and adaptation to European regulations (EMSWe, eFTI).
Impact and replicability
– Development of a cost-benefit analysis.
– Implementation strategy and replicability in other EU ports.
– Multiplication of the project’s impact beyond the Port of Valencia.
